Be one of a Hundred

MAKE CHANGE NOW want to demonstrate that consensus can work efficiently and effectively to make real change in large groups. We want to do this by teaching 100 people Values-based Consensus. If your interested, sign up today to receive updates on when, where & how to get involved. We are planning to start trainings when the first 15 people volunteer.

If not you, who? If not now, when?

Crowd at a Demonstration

"A house divided against itself cannot stand"

Abraham Lincoln said this in 1858, the bible said it before him (Mark 3.26).

Today it still stands true

The question is, how do we unite ourselves for the greater good?

Soft Gradient Horizon

Luckily... We have a Plan!

With knowledge centuries old reconstructed to fit our modern day, we hope to Unite with each other by way of Consensus.

A process of decision making that listen to each voice fully, with out discrimination or judgement! No voting, no power struggles, no overpowering force. Just finding a solution that address the problem at hand that all can support.

Instead of asking you to join a campaign, we want to actually make change (hence the name) in the way groups make decisions. We hope that by teaching 100 people consensus, we can demonstrate how, in a facilitated meeting, what is chosen to do will be decided by the whole group. In shifting from a competitive process to a cooperative one, from using power to using values, the intent is these people, once trained and having had the experience of large group cooperative decision making, will subsequently go on to teach others, and so on and so forth.

And we want YOU to learn

More on Consensus

You may have heard of consensus before, or even used it yourself, but we want to highlight the difference between the formal Values-based Consensus that we will be teaching and the process that is commonly used as consensus.

Workshops and Talks

Attending any of our consensus trainings will help you understand how the culture of hierarchic and competition has permeated our way of living and how we can change this individualism mindset into a more collective, cooperative way of being.

Continuing Education

Consensus training is, unfortunately, not a once and done deal. It takes effort and time to uphold these practices within yourself. That means finding a way to frequently practice to make a habit of them. We intend to facilitate that process.

Teaching Others

Our hope is after learning Values-based Consensus, you will take this experience and knowledge back to your organization, friends, or family. You will have the tools to inspire them to change their mindset and rekindle their awareness of their own values.

Creating Affinity Groups

To be able to incite change within a community, it is important to have like-minded people working together. Using this model as a structure for decision making, each affinity group will build trust, offer support, create unity of action, and deepen community, both internally and with other affinity groups.
